Being a SAHM...

I love being a stay at home Mom. It is so awesome to get to spend all day with the girls. It can be exhausting and trying but is totally worth it! I really love it.

What I don't love is not contributing, not making money. I stopped working a few weeks before Addison was born. Since then things have become very tight money wise. We try to live within a budget, but it's hard with all the medical bills and now Christmas it's just busting at the seams. I really hate to talk about money issues, because really I hate admitting that we have them. Greg is so great at saving and making smart choices, me not so much. In February we find out more about what will be going on with Greg at work. He is hoping to get a promotion, but there are no guarantee's. If it doesn't happen then we will have to reassess if I can continue being a full time stay at home Mom. Fingers crossed February brings good news!

P90X

So far P90X is going pretty well, but oh my it can be tough. Yoga has actually been the toughest. YIKES...

So I have lost 1.5 lbs in a week, which doesn't seem like much but I had hit a plateau so its nice to be losing some again. Once we actually have some noticeable results I will post some before and middle and then later on after pictures!

Guy's trip...

So Greg went on a guy's "fishing" trip, where I am pretty sure they caught no actual fish. At least the last time I talked to Greg they hadn't, but who knows by now because the only actual phone calls I have gotten are at 2 AM, so they don't last long. Greg is the type that goes on a trip and everything else is out of site, out of mind. So the little we did talk was through text, here is a bit of it:

Me- I am surprised you're up already. We miss you, Aubrey kept looking at the front door saying "Dada?" she was waiting for you to come home from work.

Greg- I've been the first person up and the last in bed each nite.

Me- Why?

Greg- And probably the biggest drinker. Motivated is why.

Me- Who is this?

Greg- What do you mean?

Me- Why are you telling me that you aren't getting any sleep and that you are drinking a ton? Just weird if you ask me.

Greg- I thought you would be proud.

Me- LOL, I thought someone got your phone and was tattling on you.

Yep that is my husband, so proud...

Addison's heart (update)...

So we just had yet another doctors apointment. I had anxiously been awaiting this one. We were getting an update on how Addison's heart was doing.

The nurses were in awe of how happy my baby girl was. She smiled and talked to all of them, wiggling with excitement. She is just the cutest thing! The nurses kept telling us how lucky we were to have such a happy baby.

Addison's bp's were great, almost exactly the same in the arm and her leg. Her EKG was great too. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the ultrasound. She has a very small leak in her aorta. At the size it is currently it won't be an issue. If it grows and leaks more, then she would need surgery again. The Doctor said if it does grow it would be very slow, so we just have to keep an eye on it. I am just hoping and praying it is nothing.

Please keep my amazing baby girl in your thoughts and prayers.
