I made flowers (http://pinterest.com/pin/120260252520339002/) to try to spice up lamp shades. I just stuck them on with tape to try to see how they might look. I am still not sure how I feel about them. I was going for a look similar to this: http://www.pier1.com/Catalog/HomeAccentsD%C3%A9cor/tabid/979/CategoryId/133/ProductId/29107/ProductName/Rosette-Hayworth-Lamp/Default.aspx
Which do you like??
Well I think that's all the pics I have of projects. We have finished painting the dressers, but now I want to distress them, which I am SUPER nervous about since we just painstakingly painting a million coats of white on them. I am going to use distressing techniques from here: http://pinterest.com/pin/120260252520123348/ I love how this person shows so many different ways to go about distressing!
I have painted the large M to go on the fabric panel, just trying to figure out how to hang in to there. Thinking of maybe attaching ribbon to the top of each side of the M and then have it hang in front of the panel, or trying to super glue the heck out of it and attach it to the actual panel. Thoughts??
I haven't made much progress on the mirror project yet. Still have to paint all those suckers white, but haven't had the motivation yet. Plus I wanted to make sure they would stay on the fabric canvas, and so far it has with no issue!!
SO yep that's about it. Now onto posting video's for you all of my baby girls!
